Although we’ve had some shortages of shoes in the past, we’re in a cycle now where we don’t foresee running out of shoes. And if we do, we’ll let you know.
For shipping to the United States, we generally ask for 10 days’ notice, but if you’re running short on time contact us and we’ll see how quickly we can get them to you! For international, the timing is about the same but we want to ship them as early as possible as sometimes customs can take time to clear the packages.
Your donation covers the cost of the shoes and helps us keep making more, thank you! First, we want to make sure we get your information here.
And then when you’re ready to donate, you can do so here.
And if you need to fundraise, we’d love for you to create an online fundraising page here.
The short answer is yes, but let us provide a few details. If you are distributing the shoes to children that you are not personally affiliated with, your donation can be entirely tax deductible by allowing us to send a note to someone who is affiliated with the children and can attest to the shoes being distributed. Otherwise, IRS guidelines allow for a tax write-off for the amount of your donation less the value of the shoes you are receiving. For us to send a note, please provide an email address of a person affiliated with the children and can attest to the shoes being distributed. Please send to firstname.lastname@example.org. For any questions about this, please email us at email@example.com.
We’re working to compile as much feedback as possible regarding customs but because the shoes have been distributed in nearly 50 countries so far, each country handles things differently. Furthermore, the group distributing, the kids receiving, the number of shoes taken, and even the customs agent you’re working with can make a difference. All that said, we’ve put together this write up regarding customs that should be helpful.
We've designed the shoe to not only be functional and long-lasting, but to ship and travel easily as well. In fact, 50 small pairs are packed into a large duffle bag (that we provide) that weighs less than 50 pounds. You can take 50 pairs of shoes in a bag on a plane. Awesome.
We've created two sizes:
Small = Grows 5+ sizes

Large = Grows 5+ sizes
